care for your candle.

For optimum burn quality, beeswax candles are best burned for long periods of time.

To establish a lovely burn pool for your pillar candle, we suggest that on the first lighting, you burn it for 2 hours, then the following time you light it, burn for 4 hours. Thereafter, you may burn freely.

Your pillar candle will thrive if you burn for 4 hours or more each time. The approximate burn time for your pillar candle is 120 hours for the extra large, 90 hours for the large, 70 hours for the medium, and 50 hours for the small.

To care for the wick, when extinguishing, please gently dip the wick into the melted wax pool. This will prime it for your next burn. Keep the wick trimmed to 6mm before each use.

The small beehive candles may be burned as you wish. They do not need to be prepared as the pillar candle does. They have a burn time of approximately 10 hours.

It is suggested to burn your candles out of direct breeze, for longevity and brightness.

For safety, always burn your candle on a stable, level, non-flammable, heat resistant surface. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Burn your candle out of reach of children and pets.

Avoid drafts. Never burn candles on or near anything flammable. Handle lit flame with care as wax will become hot.
